How to Create an Email Forwarder

OVERVIEW

An email forwarder automatically redirects emails sent to one email address to another email address. This is useful when you want to receive emails from multiple addresses in a single mailbox.

REQUIRED

  • Access to the client's cPanel account.
  • An active domain.
  • The destination email address that will receive the forwarded emails.

STEP 1

Log In to the Direct Admin, then on the control panel navigation, Click on Email Manager dropdown arrow.

Click On Forwarders, once you click it will open Dashboard>Forwarders page on your right.

Click On create E-mail forwarder

Step3_click on create email forwarder

STEP 4

After you have clicked create, then enter the forwarder name in the new New Forwarder Name field, type only the part before the @.

Example: 

if you want the info@africanhut.co.za,

type info

Go to Add Destination then on the empty field box type the destination email you want your fowarder to sent to. NB you can click ADD on the green button to sent to multiple emails.

Once you are done, then click Create

After you have clicked Create a green pop message at the bottom right corner will appear to show that you have successfully created a forwarder
